About Constance Blaize-Shorter
Constance has been dancing for over 35 years. She studied with Jackie’s Dance Studio, Karl & DiMarco, and Frank Rey Dance Studio where she was trained in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Acrobatics. In 2006 she opened BLAIZE Dance Productions, Inc. which was the birthplace of several theatrical dance productions, ensembles, girls’ clubs and much more. Blaize has been a part of many communities and global events such as the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, Super Bowl XXXV Halftime Show, Delta Sigma Theta Jabberwock Pageant, and Redeemed Women’s Conference, by Ann Thomas Ministries and Stellar Award Winner Martha Munizzi. Constance and the Blaize International Dance Ensemble (B.I.D.E) traveled abroad and have shared the stage with celebrities and dignitaries such as Academy Award Actress, Angela Bassett, Actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste (CBS Drama- “Without a Trace”), and Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister, Baldwin Spencer. To date, BlaizeDance, Inc. continues to work closely with the community through various theatrical productions, workshops, charitable events and most recently, the Blaize Digital Agency Program (BDAP) which provides an opportunity for students to develop real-world business and technical skills through contributing to the execution of a Digital Media Company with global reach.

BlaizeDance, Inc. is a mobile dance company that provides various services to all ages. If you want to take a class, warm-up or prepare for competitions, our online dance platforms offer the convenience of individual and group training at any location. Although online services a valuable supplement, they are not a replacement for live training. Hence, services are also provided at various studios at headquarter destinations.

Before you start!
You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately.

Blaize International Dance Ensemble (BIDE)
One day, a group of dancers was selected because they were magic on stage. They were technically sound, committed to their craft, with transformative energy. These men and women became the ensemble that is known today as the Blaize International Dance Ensemble, (BIDE).
Founded in 2007, BIDE embodies the mission of BDI to Enlighten, Educate, and Entertain through theatrical dance productions. Their commitment to training, creating and community outreach expanded their audience globally.
In 2008 (B.I.D.E) traveled abroad and have performed for celebrities and dignitaries such as Academy Award Actress, Angela Bassett, Actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste (CBS Drama- “Without a Trace”), and Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister, Baldwin Spencer.
BIDE continues to host auditions for dancers with experience in various dance styles and who are looking for an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
(Interested parties of the ensemble must be 16 years of age to apply.)

The virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to others by infected persons who have few or no symptoms. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, it is the policy of this company, with the guidance of Federal, State, and Local Orders, to conduct all services VIRTUALLY.
Virtual Sessions will be done primarily through ZOOM, Google Meet and other private professional applications that offer the best features in video conferences.
